Why Coaching?
Leadership has no easy answers. Every leadership challenge has its own unique context, dynamics, and cast of characters that preclude ready-made advice. This is where coaching comes in: coaching doesn’t give you answers–it helps you find them for yourself.
Sometimes this means seeing things from a new perspective or questioning assumptions. Sometimes it takes learning new skills or changing behavior. In any case, coaching puts you in command to figure out what works for you.

My Approach
Two things define my approach to coaching: the use of assessments and the involvement of your stakeholders. Where possible, I start every coaching engagement with an in-depth assessment, so that you understand yourself more deeply and know what you can work on.
In addition, I invite the people who depend on you as a leader—your stakeholders—to be involved in the process by giving you constructive feedback throughout. This approach results in more meaningful change because it creates a system of accountability and support.
